What is the application process like? Are there any deadlines?

Our application process involves an application available on this website. In order to be an ALPFA RU NB general member candidate, the application must be filled out completely. We accept members on a rolling basis and do not have a formal deadline. However, the sooner you apply, the sooner you can get access to exclusive perks!

Do I have to be Latinx or in the Business School in order to join ALPFA RU NB?

No! Our chapter aims to be as inclusive as possible and we accept applications from any background, any school, and any major within Rutgers New Brunswick. We encourage anyone that is interested to apply. We do, however, maintain a strong focus on the Latinx and Black population at Rutgers Business School and the School of Arts and Sciences.

Can I utilize this organization to get an internship?

For the most part, yes. However, ALPFA RU NB is much more than that. Our resources provide countless opportunities to match students with internships, but we also create an impact for the minority community at Rutgers Business School by representing ALPFA National's values, demonstrating our bond, and ensuring that we remain a safe space for minorities at 100 Rock.

How do I know this organization is for me?

We encourage you to apply if you are looking for community, professional development, or both! We play hard but have fun while doing so, and most, if not all of our members positively remember their ALPFA years.
