The Full Story
ALPFA NJ
We have 5 sister Student Chapters in New Jersey, many of whom we co-sponsor various events with. We interact with more than 200 ALPFA students across the state.
The ALPFA NJ Professional Chapter has served the community for 18 years and includes a Chapter Network of over 4000 members who also hold full-time positions within industry-leading firms.
Community
Centered in the heart of New Brunswick and right in the tri-state area, our chapter holds several community service events per semester. One of our well-regarded initiatives during the COVID-19 Pandemic was creating personalized Thank You letters for our local first responders.
RBS Impact
We are one of the two minority-catering organizations at Rutgers Business School and have had a presence at Rutgers Business School since 2008.
Our member base has more than tripled in size since 2018 and continues to grow as students join Rutgers University-New Brunswick and the School of Arts and Sciences.
ALPFA National
ALPFA National has about 155 Student Chapters and 44 Professional Chapters across the country.
Every year, ALPFA National holds a National Convention of over 4000 attendees and 4 regional symposiums. ALPFA Rutgers New Brunswick always makes a notable presence at the Northeastern Symposiums, whether in Boston or right in our homes.
Fun fact: ALPFA National's CEO, Damian Rivera, is a Rutgers Graduate!
ALPFAmilia
"ALPFAmilia" is a term coined by ALPFA National to describe the close bond within our members. We are more than members of an organization, we are family and we demonstrate it through several social events and the connection to our Alumni.
Vision
Our goal is to create community-- for us by us. We motivate each other to build the careers of our dreams and have fun while doing so. We are like-minded individuals that want to succeed and aim to do that for our peers as well.
